Capping off our glorious week in sun filled South Beach was one of our most anticipated events of the conference. Mark Knight's Toolroom Knights party featured a superb lineup of the label stable including D Ramirez, Paul Harris, ATFC, Seb Fontaine, Martijn ten Velden and of course Mr. Knight himself. After a brief meet and greet and schmooze at Roger Sanchez's Stealth party, it was down Washington to Suite just in time to catch the close of D Ramirez's smoking set. Dean is one of the coolest and most personable people we've met in dance music, and his technical precision and flare for hot tunes makes catching his DJ performances essential. Next up, the main man, Mark Knight, took control and elevated an already hype and packed crowd to the next level. Basing our expectations on Mark's killer set @ Juicy Beach a few days before we knew we were in for a treat. Mark proceeded to turn that mutha out, playing a fine selection of new and classic Toolroom joints and another appearance of Funkagenda's "Around the World" bootleg tearing the roof of the joint. Throw in a tag team with Martijn ten Velden and a brilliant closer from Seb Fontaine and we have the perfect end to an incredible week in Miami. Only 11 more months til we do it all again!
